Abstract | ||
This study was undertaken at the Poultry Researches Station /Department of Animal Resource/ pertaining to the Directorate for Agricultural Researches / Ministry of Agriculture, during the period from 13/8 until 23/9/2014, using of 300 chick Rose 308 breed, randomly distributed to 4 treatments. randomly distributed to 4 treatments: T1 control group without additives, T2: additive 0.4% aqueous extract for flowers of Borage plant, T3: additive 0.4% aqueous extract for air parts of Melilotus T4: mixed between T2 with T3 contents. The aim of this experiment was to effect of difference treatments in production performance in broiler , the experiment lasted for 6 weeks and environmental temperature 24-30 C and the relative humitidy 40-50%. Non significant effect of treatments in body weight and body gain, had significant (P<0.05) increased of feed intake in T4 at 1week from age of birds, but increased of feed intake in T3 at some weeks of experiment. Non significant difference in feed conversion ratio and overall means, except at 2 week (P<0.05) for birds in T2. Significant variance (P<0.05) between treatment in mortality at end of experiment. No clear result was observed in addition these two aqueous extracts but mortality was reduced | ||
