The Summery This study presents many sides of Luqman’s advice to his son that aim at correcting the behaviour of human being and building kind relationships among the individuals of a society and among the members of the family itself. So, restraining polytheism is considered as a mean to worship Allah, the only one who possesses the Heavens and earth. Furthermore, , urging man kinds that they are watched by Allah is also considered as a way of integrity and piety, especially piety for the parents and showing them kindness, which leads to good life for families and societies in general, since the society would not rise without the high values that Allah specifies in the verses of Luqman’s advice. In this sense, commanding courtesy (i.e. virtue) and forbidding vice are considered as big support for building a firm society that doesn’t accept vice to be increased among its individuals. Then, the value of modesty for Allah and mankind raises Muslims to high degrees (He who shows modesty to Allah, Allah will raise him), followed by the value of patience, that is to be patient in facing the difficulties of life with strong faith, are other ways to reinforce manhood, strength and steadfast in the individual, especially woman, urging them to go forwards to build a strong society. Eventually, the verses of Luqman’s advice include many other educational and moral sides that can lead the society and its individuals to good and valuable life, since Allah has honored human kinds and specified the values that direct him to be a useful individual and to spread out the real Islamic message through his behaviours. So, he taught him to walk quietly with dignity and without pride, which Allah considers it as a bad feature. Finally, Luqman urges his son to speak quietly with low voice, a nice feature that Allah loves, resembles it to the despicable voice of donkeys which all humankinds dislike. | ||
