| Abstract The cancer one of the most chronic diseases cause of death in the world, including the Governorate of Basra, accounting for deaths from these diseases of various kinds waste of human and economic resources in the Governorate, so research aims to reveal the recorded deaths for cancer patients in the Governorate of Basra in terms of size and trends The temporal and spatial patterns of the most prominent and demographic characteristics of the period (2003-2012). The research has concluded several results, including the deaths from cancer size has reached (5887) and the death of an annual average (588.7) and death, as lung cancer and leukemia disease had the highest proportion of deaths also Exceeded male mortality on female mortality, and recorded the age group (45-64), the highest mortality rate of cancer and other diseases. | ||
