Abstract | ||
Literary biography represents a cultural and aesthetic genre which has been evoked by other old and modern literary styles in order to reveal past events and disclose the relation between the biography and the outside world. Since poetry is characterized by openness and attachment, biography has found a place in its ample space. Imaginative poetry has greatly adheres to narrative and produced a literary pattern characterized by individuality and uniqueness. The search identifies this as “Biography poem”. In his biography poem, the poet Mahmood Darwish has posed questions filled with adventure to delve through it to discuss its philosophical perspectives about death and nihilistic aspect of life. The researcher is seeking to dissemble the poem’s perspectives of the biography poem and its contexts of existentialist contents. It also documents details of the self and narrate its history through the poetic image in his poetic collection “in the presence of absence”. | ||
