The present paper reconnoiters the semantic fields in the waterpraying supplication of imam Al-Hasan and exerts itself to manifest certain utterances employing water in panoramic shades of meaning: the water that falling from the sky could be rain in drops to bid high prices slump; bless to be spread . However there is a sense of erudition in the Al-Hasan discourse manipulating the phenomenon; vales, mounts and brooks that usher water abundance in such a supplication of the imam . The meant diversity in diction grants the system of water-praying supplication a pathway to erudition and edification and reflects the faith the imam ensconces in his heart. Ultimately the study takes hold of the semantic discourse analysis to cull the targets propagating an evident intellectual structure for the sake of the human development, the inspiration of man and his intellectual reality and doctrinal essence. Keywords: Imam Al-Hasan, water-praying supplication, semantic fields, narratology, semantic trait, intellectual targets, educational targets, human development. | ||
