Abstract | ||
X-rays fluorescence (XRF) was used to determine the concentrations of major and trace elements in some of the medicinal herbs used widely in Iraq. The results showed that the herbs contained high concentrations of calcium and potassium, and low concentrations of silicone, iron, magnesium, sodium, chloral and sulfur. Furthermore, the samples also contained trace concentrations of aluminum, manganese, cobalt, copper, nickel, zinc, lead and mercury. | ||
