Abstract This study was conducted in Talkaif /Al-Mosel Province during the winter season of 2012-2013 in zero tillage system (ZT) for wheat field (Triticum aestivum L.) to investigate the response of weeds to Topik plus herbicide which applied to weed control and effects on yield and yield components of wheat , The herbicide rate (640cm3 + 9g) , (800cm3 + 11.25g) , (960cm3 + 13.5g)/ha at early (march) andlated (April) application as well as to unweeded treatment. The experimental design was R.C.B.D with three replicats. The results showed that reduction in number and dry weight of weeds were up to 61% , 71% , 51.4% , 44.9% for treatment (640cm3 + 11.25g) and (960cm3 + 13.5g) /ha respectively, while the efficiency of weed control was at early application on march compared with late application (Aril) which reach up to 46%. On the other hand , spike length and number of grain per spike had increased significantly at dose (800cm3 + 11.25g)/ha up to 30.5% , 30% respectively. However , unsignificant results had seen with application time. The best treatment in zero tillage system was at rate (800cm3+ 11.25g) /ha with early application which increased grain yield up to 40.9% if it compared with un weeded treatment. | ||
