Abstract | ||
The Weibull distribution is an important distribution especially for reliability and maintainability analysis, therefore in this paper, two methods the Maximum Likelihood and Bayes for estimating the two parameters of the Weibull distribution, namely, shape parameter (β) and scale parameter (θ) has been presented, and compared between these two methods. For verifying this object has been used the simulation method where has been generated random samples with known parameters. It has been shown from the computational results that the method which gives the best estimates is the Bayes method. | ||
