Abstract | ||
The problem of the trade balance and imbalance chronic conditions of the financial transactions of Foreign Affairs has become the most important problems that facing the administration of the current economic as it, this imbalance come as a result of conditions experienced by Iraq during the nineties and represented by Gulf War II in 1990, and Matlaha of the economic blockade and economic sanctions and international latest occupation Iraq in 2003. These circumstances have resulted to lower the value of real GDP due to suspended oil exports, which rely heavily on financing the general budget rising unemployment rates and the volume of savings and increased general level of prices, all of these conditions combined led to increased imports at the expense of exports and therefore the trade deficit. So clearly, shows the necessary of treatment of the Iraqi trade imbalance and by usingcertain policies, including foreign exchange rate policy. This is will be discussed in this paper. | ||
