An experiment was conducted in the Soil and water resources science department /College of agriculture /University of Basrah. The objective of this study was to examine the effect of applied of organic matter, urea and potassium sulphate on potassium interactions in some calcarious soils in different time of incubation .The treatments were applied to soils in studies and incubated at the degree of 350 for (7,14 and 30) days, then available and fixed potassium were extrected and measured by using standared methods. Results showed that Al-saraji soil was significantly increased of availability and fixed average of potassium than Karma ali soil and fixed potassium was increased by applying organic matter and different fertilizers. (urea –potassium sulphate) treatment was significantly increased in comparsion with other treatments in fixed potassium. Fixing was increased by increasing time of incubation. | ||
