| Abstract | ||
| This study performed to study some of physical , chemical and biological factors in Shatt Albasrah canal in basrah governorate . the study included three stations at the long of canal . These station are Abu Sukhair near Grmat Ali , Mohammed al –kasim bridge and khur Al- Zubair . The samples taken through two months (April and may) . The values of some physical and chemical factors which evaluated are water temperature 19.5 ˚C , pH 8.5 , TDS 12.5 ml/L , salinity 6.7 g /L , DO 6.5 ml/L , NO3 50 ml/L and PO4 7.5 ml/L . The result appears the presents of phytoplankton types , some types of Copepodes and also numbers and presents of Eschershia coli and Pseudomonas aerogenosa pathogens in the water of Shatt Albasrah canal. | ||
