Abstract | ||
Samples of insect adults, larvae and cocoons with pieces of infested declining palm leaves of Phoenix dactylifera were collected in Safwan area which is located south of Basrah, Iraq in mid-October 2015. The pest identified as a red palm weevil Rhynchophorus ferrugineus. This is the first record the pest in Iraq. | ||
