Abstract | ||
This paper is concerned with problem of comparing different estimators of reliability function of two parameters Lomax distribution where is ( ( shape parameter and is scale parameter and then comparing the efficiency of the estimators which are maximum likelihood ,median,Bayes by using Jeffery prior with quadratic loss function and extended Bayes by using Jeffery prior. The comparison was done using simulation procedure with different sample size and values of parameters ,on the bases of simulation experiment we conclude that the extended Bayes by using Jeffery prior method with quadratic loss function was the best method for small values of parameters and maximum likelihood for large values of parameter and that's true for all values of sample sizes. | ||
