Abstract | ||
The experiment was conducted in the lath house, College of Agriculture / University of Karbala during the growing season of 2014 on seedling Pomegranate cv. Salimi. The seedling were Sprayed by garlic extract in three concentrations (0, 4 and 8 ml . L-1) and whey also three concentrations (0, 50 and 75%) for five periods. Experiments were factorial in (R.C.B.D) with 3 replications. The results reflected the following findings : Results replay that Garlic extract Concentration (8 ml . L-1) resulted in the highest means of the (Lengths roots , number of roots and fresh and dry weight of the root system). Whey extract at (75%) was the superior treatment in giving the highest rates of root system characters. Interaction of (8 ml . L-1garlic + 75% whey) had a positive influence on the root system characters of Pomegranate seedlings. | ||
