This research aims to know effectiveness of the thinking maps to acquire historical concepts and retention of first year students of the mediterranean . The study sample consisted of (71) students divided in to a group protoypestudening using thinking maps and contrvol group stadentiedthetraditionalway Rewarded researcher between the towsete of search phpservralaviables , alamr time alzca, altheslprerionousschool, theselparens. Use researeher and direrse statistical methods in dealing with the search reaults. The results showed the superiority of the experimental group to the control group in atest to aquire historical concepts and retention . | ||
