Abstract | ||
This research is about the patterns of daily rainfall intensity with its trend and classification in Sulaimania city between 1992 – 2015. This research divided rainfall intensity to study the area in to patterns. The study shows that the repetition rate of trace precipitation pattern reached to 0.1 – 0.9 mm for 15.1 day (%8.72 from the days of the rainy season), and the very light rainfall pattern is 1- 2.49 mm for 12.2 day(4.47 % from the days of the rainy season) and the light rainfall 2.50 – 7.49 mm for 18.1 day (6.62 % from the days of the rainy season) and the moderate rainfall is 7.50 – 35.49 mm for 24.57 day (%9 From the days of the rainy season) and the heavy rainfall is 35.50 – 65.49 mm for 2.39 day (%0.87 from the days of the rainy season) and the very heavy rainfall exceptionally is more than 65.50 mm for 0.39 day (%0.14 from the days of the rainy season). this data have illustrated that the trend the regression line is (negative) for very light rainfall pattern is (-0.1858 day) the light rainfall is (-0.1966 day), the moderate rainfall pattern is (-0.1462 day), and heavy rainfall pattern is (-0.087 day), in contrast it showed the trend of regression line is (positive) for trace rainfall pattern is (0.8202 day), and very heavy rainfall pattern exceptionally is (0.0268 day). | ||
