ABSTRACT The phonetic study is very important in the field of Arabic language and the study of the sound is the first step for each study because it deals with the smallest unit in the structure of the word. It is the raw material in the human speech. The study of the sound is not far away from the rest of the other language levels (grammatical ,morphological and lexical) as what we find in the old books .The subjects of the language are interconnected and the supreme goal is to be under the service of the Glorious Quran. This research delimits itself to the study of Arabic sounds (assets and branches) in Abu Al-Fedaa Al-Ayoubi who was famous by (Sahib Humat ) who was born in 732 After Hijra. I chose Al-Knash in grammatical art, morphological to be the base of my study. It contains Abu Al-Fedaa opinions and compared it with the opinions of the ancient writers. Then I set it in comparison with the modern sound lesson in many sides so as to balance between it and the ancient sound lesson. Sometimes my target is limited to explanation and analysis and show my opinions that I got from the books of modern and ancient writers. Abu Al- Fedaa comes in agreement with the past in many aspects (Arabic sounds, assets and it's branches), but he still keeps his personality in writing and his way; he was famous for his clarity and the moderation in discussing his phonetic cases and he added a lot to these research studies .So his presentation in the book is very clear. When we focus on the phonetic material in his research we notice that Arabic Alphabetic is based on the sounds as (assets) because the good sounds and the bad sounds can be as confused sounds, it has no clear articulation like the original sounds. So it consists of (29) or (28) perfect sound in pronunciation and much more in performance. | ||
