ABSTRACT The modern fundamentalists are considered as the philosophers of Arabic grammar. Their contributions to Arabic language are unique. The fundamentalist uses grammar to obtain religious norms accordingly assisting to understand and comprehend the texts. They render the introductions of their fundamental researches linguistic known as articulation sections. The most important research studies are those philosophized ones searching for the literal meaning studied by the fundamentalists in a way that has never been studied before. Consequently, they are considered as the pioneers in the field. The most famous modern fundamentalists is Abu Al-Qasim AlKhuai, died in 1413H, and being taught by the most eminent modern fundamentalists in the Honored Najaf whose thoughts inspired and influenced his career later on. He created his own fundamental school. The meaning (Alma'ana) section is a manifestation to his fundamental thoughts and the influence of his teachers on his philosophy. The research focuses on the section that studies the literal meaning as a linguistic study tackling the philosophy of literal meanings and concepts. The present study delimits itself to Al-Khuai`s philosophical ideas which are documented by seven of his students arranging his Al-Kharij research in addition to some comments of his professor Al-Nai'ini which is known as "Ajwad Al-Taqrirat" (The Best Decisions) which are: 1. Lectures on religious studies edited by Sheik Muhammad Isaac Al-Fayadh. 2. Misbah Al-Ussol (The Light of Fundamentals) edited by Muhammad Suror Al-Wai'id Al- Bashoodi. 3. Studies on the Fundamentals edited by Ali Al- Shahroodi. 4. Masabeeh Al-Usool (The Lights of Fundamentals) edited by Ala Al-Deen Bahr Aluloom. 5. Ghayat Al-Ma'amool fi Ilm Al-Usool (The Uppermost Aspiration) edited by Sheik Muhammad Taki Al-Jawahiri. There are two other research studies excluded from the present study: the first one dose not deal with the literal meaning edited by FakrAldeen Al-zanjani, the second one is not available and the researcher does not find though endeavouring hard; it is edited by Abu Al-Qasim Al- Kawkabi. | ||
