Abstract | ||
The research aimed to: determine the knowledge level of potato crop growers in some marketing processes. determine that level in each axis of marketing process such as: (Assembling, grading, packing, transport and storage).And, to determine the relationship between the knowledge level and some independent variables such as (age, education, farm size, income, participation in extension activities). A questionnaire was designed to collect data during the period July and August 2013 by simple random sample insulated (50) growers from the total population of (800) growers, (6.25%). The results showed that (44%) of the respondent, their knowledge level was medium. There was significant relationship between the knowledge level and independent variables income, farm possession size, participation in extension activities and non–significant relationship with education and age. The research recommended to intensify the extension programs for potato growers and providing them with all marketing requirements. | ||
