Al-Qaamoosi is a great poet who was born and lived in Al-Najaf city in the middle of Iraq. His collection of poems has been characterized by clarification and various rhetorical styles. This richness in style has been derived from his city, Al-Najaf, since it has an ancient scientific and literary status in addition to its fame and prominence in poetry in all times. Moreover, Al-Najaf has embraced well-known and great poets in both poetry and literature. In such an environment, al-Qamoosi has been brought up, writing his poetry in a clarified Arabic style or what is called ‘Al-Bayan Al-Arabi’, which colors his writings in poetry. Al-Qaamoosi has used varied clarification arts for different poetic purposes. However, the metaphorical art was the dominant style that he has used in his volume because he was blended with this kind of art since the metaphor grants the speaker the ability to express his/her feelings achieving the purpose.
