| This research approaches to investigate toxin gene content of the methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus strains that are clinically collected from human skin infection cases by performing multiplex polymerase chain reaction (PCR) technique (irrespective of whether the strain produces the toxin or not) and for that a single PCR reaction was employed, two pairs of exfoliative toxin and one pair toxic shock syndrome toxin-1. Amplicon sizes ranged between 93, 226 and 326bp, to facilitate electrophoretic separation. Results of the current study had revealed that the major gene detected was tst found in six isolates. Multiple toxin gene combinations were also observed.
