Abstract | ||
In this investigation stripped off epidermis and anatomy of leaf and stem of four wild plant species ( Lepaleum filifolium (Willd) DC.; Malcolmia africana (L.) ; Matthiola longipetala (Vent) DC. and Neotorularia torulosa (Desf) ) from Hesperideae and Matthioleae ( Brassicaceae) were studied . N. torulosa was reported here for the first time from Iraq and its characters were compared with that of other species studied . The study revealed the significance of trichomes ; stomata and internal structure of leaves and stems in separating between species investigated . | ||
