This study was carried out at the poultry farm of animal resources Dep. College of Agriculture –University of Al-anbar during the period from 28/2/2013 to 18/4/2013(49days).The objective of this study was investigated the effect of supplementation different levels of citric acid and acetic acid to Broiler diets on productive and Physiological characteristics of broiler, 273 one day unsexed chicks (rose 308) were randomly distributed on seven treatments with three replicates (13 chicks /replicate) and each treatment were as follows: Treatment 1: control diet. Treatment 2: Basal diet + 0.02% citric acid. Treatment 3: Basal diet + 0.04% citric acid. Treatment 4: Basal diet + 0.06% citric acid. Treatment 5: Basal diet + 0.02% acetic acid. Treatment 6: Basal diet + 0.04% acetic acid. Treatment 7: Basal diet + 0.06% acetic acid. The results showed: 1- Adding C.A. 4g/kg feed (T3) showed significantly (p<0.01) improved in final body weight, body weight gain (p<0.05), and relative average growth (p<0.05). Also it gave highest (p<0.05) production efficiency factor and low mortality (also showed low mortality percentage with added 2C.A.g/kg,2A.A g/kg feed). However added 4 A.A. g/kg (T6) lower (p<0.05) feed intake with was higher feed efficiency (p<0.05) for all weeks 2- No significant at different dressing percentage between treatment with or without giblets. | ||
