Abstract | ||
The aims of this study were to identify the types of bacteria that present in the milk, and the counts of these bacteria. For this purpose 70 sheep milk samples were collected from local markets in Salah aldeen governorate in the period from (1/1/2014 to 30/3/2014) .Bacteria diagnosed by using selective bacterial media, biochemical tests and gram stain. The results of the study showed that the isolation ratio of Escherichia coli, Klebsiella spp, protus spp, Salmonella spp and Brucella were 92% , 48.5 % , 22.8 %, 10% , 4.2 %, respectively. While isolation ratio of staphylococcus spp and streptococcus spp were 21.4%, 12.8 %, respectively. The results of present study revered tothat bacteria count in the milk samples ranged from more than 108cfu/ml and less than 104cfu/ml. | ||
