An experiment was conducted during the winter season of 2013-2014 in the Khur-ALzubeir, Basrah province in order to study the effect 0f addition potassium humate ( 0, 36, 72) kg K.h-1 and sulfur at ( 0, 250, 500 ) kg S.h-1 and the interactions(3*3) in some characteristics of vegetative growth , flowering and yield of tomato hybrid Hatouf .Treatment of this experiment were distributed as factorial experiment in Randomized Complete Block Design (R.C.B.D) with three replicates .Means were compared according to the least significant difference (L.S.D). at level of 0.05. Results could be summarized as follows: Both potassium humate levels(72,36) kg K.h-1 increased plant height, number of leaves, number of branches, number of inflorescence's, number of flowers, total fruit number, average of fruit weight plant yield , early yield ,total productivity, vitamin C in fruit and TSS%, but significantly decreased percentage of aborted flowers The potassium humate level 36 kg.h-1 increased significantly stem diameter, dry matter ratio in fruits and TSS%, while the 72 kgk.h-1 level increased significantly the leaf area and both fresh and dry weight. The sulfur increased significantly plant height, stem diameter ,lateral branches of plants number ,leaf area, fresh and dry weight ,early yield, vitamin C and TSS in fruits, but decreased percentage of aborted flowers .The level 500kg S. ha-1 increased significantly the total leaves number, flower inflorescences number, total fruits number, fruit weight plant yield and total productivity. The interaction between both study factors effect significantly in some characteristics for both levels 72kg K.ha-1 potassium humate 500kg S.h-1 sulfur which resulted in the high plant yield and productivity to 4.217 kg.plant-1 and74.220 ton .ha-1 respectively. | ||
