Abstract | ||
The changes in the international system since the end of the Cold War and the collapse of the Soviet Union, is a matter made the decision-makers in the United States re-evaluate America’s national interests and priorities. In spite of the difference in opinions, there is one fact that the role of the United States should be reinforced all over the world. Hence, the United States has started new steps towards Africa like expanding its domination, influence and interests in this vital region as well as trying to involve the continent in the world economic system. It also seeks to change Africa’s ideologies towards liberalism. On the other hand, China starts to expand its domination all over the world, including the African continent, and that was the result of its economic development during last years. Therefore, China starts to look forward and transcends its national borders searching for raw materials needed for its developed industries and finding markets to sell its products. China’s economic, military, and cultural domination in Africa considered as a form of competition to the growing U.S. domination in the continent. | ||
