Abstract | ||
We have studied the effect of gamma irradiation by three doses (17.64, 35.28 and 52.92 Rad) on optical transmittance, reflectance, absorption coefficient, energy gap , refractive index and the extinction coefficient for (Mn2O3)1-x (CuO)x with (x=0.5) thin films which were prepared on glass substrates by chemical pyrolysis technique. From the analysis of the absorption and transmission spectra in the wavelength range (300-900 nm) we found that the irradiation changes the optical properties under investigation in this study. The results show that the energy gap (Eg) increase with increasing of radiation dose | ||
