Abstract | ||
This study deals with the conducted to evaluate the susceptibility of three cultivars of maize ( Cadz , Bhoth 106 and Mas ) against the infestation by corn borer Sesamia cretica L. during the fall season 2011 in the fields of technical institute Hawija, the results obtained showed that, the sensitively of all cultivars of maize to the corn borer by avarying degrees Cadz was the most tolerant to the corn borer , infestation rates were 63% , 51% , 48% and yield loss of 41.64% , 35.71% , and 11.23% for cultivars Cadz , Bhoth 106 and Mas respectively . | ||
