Abstract | ||
Abstract This study aims to: 1. Identifying the psychological pressures of the players of different play lines between normal state and important football match. 2. The differences in stress between the normal state and the important football match. The researchers relied on the human domain that is represented by the players of the Faculty of Physical Education-Salahaddin University. The number of players were 24, and the descriptive style was used for relevance to the nature of the research. The research’s sample was chosen as intentional way and was represented by famous team of Faculty of Physical Education of the University of Salahaddin that participates in the championship of the faculties of the universities in the Kurdistan Region in 2013. The psychological stress scale was used as a research tool, which consists of (51) paragraph that measure the degree of psychological pressure of the player, and after making sure validity and reliability of this scale, the data were been processed statistically using (arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and the simple correlation coefficient of Pearson and T test for related samples). The results: 1. There is an increase in the degree of stress, depending on the various play centers in the research's sample. 2. A high degree of psychological pressure, the more the importance of the game compared with its level in the natural state. 3. There are significant differences in the degree of stress in different play centers between the normal state and the important match. Recommendation: 1. Rely on one of the means of mental training as a way to reduce the degree of stress before the start of the competition. 2. Rely on psychological methods characterized by the availability of the appropriate base to activate the psychological preparation when the players and enable it to face the stress and deal with them wisely in order to control and overcome. 3. To accustom players to focus to resolve the duties entrusted to them and not external influence of psychotropic whether during training or matches. | ||
