Abstract | ||
: This study was conducted in the Lathhouse of the Horticultural Department, College of Agriculture – University of Baghdad to study the impact of soaking local orange budwood in BA (0,100 and 300 ) mg/l budded on three types of rootstocks (sour orange , volkamer lemon, cleopatra mandarin ) and spraying producd sapling with Brassinolide (0, 0.003 , 0.005)mg/l on budding seccess and scion growth ,The experience was conduct with split-split plot in RCBD design, Results can be summarized as follew: Soaking of budwood in 300 mg/l BA resulted in higher budding success percentage and all studied characteristics( plant high , shoot number, leaves number, leaves area ,stem diameter of scion and rootstock ,treatment of saplings with 0.005 mg/l brassinolide gave the highest values all leaves number, shoots number, leaves area .Volkamer lemon rootstock show significant increase in all studied characteristics, Interaction of 300 mg/l BA with 0.005 mg/l brassinolide improved most of vegetative characteristics.Interaction btween volkamer lemon rootstock, 300 mg/l BA and 0.005 mg/l brassinolide gave the highest means of all studied characteristics. | ||
